My photo work is a collection of what I have found to be beautiful in the last many years. Black and white has been the dominant format of how I choose to express what I feel and how I see the world. Cross process photography is something I have been working with much during the last 2 years as an experimental use of color. The different cultures, peoples, and religions of the world have attracted me for as long as I am able to remember. The different places I have been have all had a profound effect on how I see things. The influence of India, Iran, Africa's East Coast and Japan has been especially strong on me. Old trade routes and the concept of the 'Human Condition' have been major themes in my recent work.

My painting work focuses on simple patterns that I am drawn to graphically. Flowers, lines, dots, the use of monochromatic palettes and currently a movement towards the abstract. Minimalism has always made sense to me. Empty space being equally as important as used space.
